Personal Education Department - Citizenship

Citizenship develops the students understanding of their rights and responsibilities at a personal, local, national and global level. Students also find that aspects of citizenship occur in a range of other subjects so making it a truly cross curricular subject.

Active citizenship is encouraged across the school. This includes the adoption of a charity for which each year group/form sets a target to attain during each academic year. Raising money for charities is facilitated through a Christmas Fayre in addition to student led activities.
