Transition from Year 6 to Year 7

Information for Transition from Y6 to Y7

Please watch our welcome videos from Miss Stanfield, Associate Headteacher, and Mrs Mondon-Lines, Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Years 7 and 8.

Our Year 7 Induction Day is Wednesday 2nd September 2020. The day starts at 8:45am and ends at 3:15pm.

There is a possibility that the date of this may change due to the current circumstances, but we will write to all Year 6 parents/carers with confirmation of the date, and details about the first day, once we have received guidance from the Government.

Hello and welcome to Haybridge!

This year, unfortunately, your introduction to Haybridge will not be the same as in previous years. We have all had to make adjustments to how we work and socialise in the past few months and this means we have not been able to meet you, or for you to meet each other, as in previous years. However this does not mean that we are going to expect you to jump straight in! We will organise your first day so that you have plenty of time to get to know each other – and us!

We’re sure that, like everyone else, you are keen to get back to normal as soon as possible and being at school is a big part of that. So, make sure you have everything that you need for your first day and your uniform is smart and we will take care of everything else.

Before then, take a look through the information on this page. Watch the videos from your Pastoral Team, and get familiar with the faces you will meet when you start.

Haybridge is a great school and we very much look forward to welcoming you all, when we can and it is safe to do so.
