Recently Qualified Teacher Programme 2017/18

The Recently Qualified Teacher (RQT) Programme has been designed for teachers who have been recognised as having leadership potential with two to five years teaching experience.

We understand the challenges faced by Headteachers’ to retain excellent staff. The aim of the RQT programme is to deepen teachers’ knowledge and understanding of the key challenges including accountability, subject leadership alongside meeting the bespoke needs of the individual.

The programme consists of six themed sessions with a clear focus on development. They will be delivered via a combination of face to face workshops and classroom observations enabling participants to share their experiences, seek support and develop strategies to enhance their current classroom practice.

Course Objectives:

provide a network of supportive peers and experienced teachers;

  • encourage the teacher to become a more reflective practitioner and develop greater confidence;
  • gives the teacher access to an extensive resource base;
  • deepen understanding of key aspects of outstanding teaching and learning;

The RQT programme support package will cost £325 per participant.  Discounts are available for multiple bookings.
