Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Chandos Lodge Care Home for a wonderful afternoon tea hosted by our Kindness Ambassadors and senior members of the Music Leadership Team. ☕🎶
The day began with our Kindness Ambassadors cooking up a storm alongside Mrs Evans, preparing a delicious selection of homemade treats including scones, sausage rolls and mini quiches ready to serve our special guests.
This afternoon, students proudly hosted and served afternoon tea before providing an afternoon of live music and performances from our Music Leadership Team. Residents enjoyed a selection of much-loved classics, including ‘My Way’ by Frank Sinatra, creating a truly special atmosphere.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for making the afternoon so memorable and for showing such kindness, community spirit and talent!

Today, a group of Year 9 and Year 10 students took part in a visit to Worcester Crown Court, giving them a unique insight into the criminal justice system.
Students were welcomed by the High Sheriff of Worcestershire, who introduced the cases being heard and encouraged students to engage in discussion and ask questions. Students then observed live court proceedings, gaining first-hand experience of how the court operates and the roles of those involved.
The visit also included a powerful talk from Nathan Parker, who shared his personal experiences of the criminal justice system, followed by a group discussion reflecting on the morning’s learning and considering a case study together.
It was a valuable and thought-provoking experience which gave students a real insight into the justice system beyond the classroom.
