Chai & Paint 🎨
This morning, some of our Year 8 students took part in a cultural art and wellbeing session called Chai & Paint.
During the session, students created a canvas painting that represented their identity, culture, interests, and personal experiences.
As they painted, students reflected on what makes them unique and shared aspects of their cultural backgrounds with one another. The session also explored the Five Ways to Wellbeing: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give.
Through creative expression and meaningful conversations, students developed a greater appreciation of themselves and others while promoting positive wellbeing.

We are so proud of our Year 7 students who completed the @morgan.stanley business enterprise project this year ⭐️
Students had to design a sustainable business while exploring key themes such as social issues, marketing, budgeting, and planning which they presented to the dragons last week. Thank you to @rmar_murray for joining us as a dragon for the day!
They had some great business ideas and really worked well as a team 💪🏼

The countdown is on!
We’re looking forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students at our upcoming transition events - Pyramid Arts Day on 25th June and Transition Day on 14th July.
Over the coming weeks, Mrs Mondon-Lines will also be visiting our Year 6 students as we begin preparing for this exciting next step.

What a pleasure it has been to invite @talkthetalkuk into school today to deliver their ‘Talk About Communication’ workshop to some of our Year 9 and 10 students.
Talk The Talk’s mission is to develop students’ oracy skills and their communication confidence to support positive life interactions and improved social outcomes.
Our students engaged wonderfully, all delivering fantastic speeches to each other at the end of the day!

A huge congratulations to Maisie, who competed at the National Finals in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday and delivered an outstanding performance with a clean routine throughout.
We are delighted to share that Maisie passed her final grades, Excel 3, officially earning Elite Gymnast status. As if that wasn’t enough, she has also qualified for the British Championships in Liverpool next year!
We couldn’t be prouder of Maisie and the dedication, resilience and hard work she has shown to reach this incredible milestone. We can’t wait to see what she achieves next 🌟🤸♀️
