Haybridge Sixth Form Open Morning – Saturday, 11 January- Book a time

Open Evenings will be on Wednesday 23rd September for Lower School & Thursday 22nd October for Sixth Form

Haybridge is open today Wednesday 20th November for all year groups.

Students and staff must take great care when making their way to school as after the recent snowfall roads and pavements may be a cause for concern and should only be travelled if families and individuals consider it safe to do so in their particular circumstances.

Please report any absences in the usual way.

Our last communication from the school transport companies suggested that they are running a normal service and they have yet to make us aware of any changes or cancellation to services.

INTEGRITY IS ABOUT DOING THE RIGHT THING We treat others with respect and honesty. We take care of our environment and utilise knowledge and understanding wisely. We nurture our students so that they become young adults of principle and character who support each other in their quest for excellence. WE ARE COMMITTED
TO BEING THE BEST
WE CAN BE
We consistently deliver on expectations and go the extra mile to get the job done, approaching everything with a “can do attitude”. We constantly look to improve ourselves and our service, cultivating our knowledge, skill, and attitudes to achieve excellence.
WE ARE AMBITIOUS FOR OURSELVES AND OUR STUDENTS We set high expectations and standards and strive to achieve excellence in all that we do. We are unashamedly ambitious for the students we serve. We want to provide access to opportunities within the classroom and beyond. We will continue to strive to be the best we can be. KNOWLEDGE AND LITERACY MAKE CREATIVITY POSSIBLE Our schools, where students develop the literacy skills on which all further learning depends, cultivate creativity by providing a broad base of academic knowledge that students need to be properly creative. The knowledge we deliver is powerful in that it changes students’ perceptions, values and understanding. It encourages students to ask new questions and explore alternate explanations.

Sixth Form at Haybridge

The Sixth Form at Haybridge is an established and distinctive part of an exceptional school, and we are able to offer a unique experience.
Welcome back, Haybridge!

How wonderful to see Haybridge filled with life again today.

Students began their day with a warm ‘Welcome’ assembly from Mrs Mondon-Lines, where our Year 11 prefects received their prefect ties, before spending time with their tutors collecting planners and timetables and getting settled into the new school year.

Then it was back into lessons, reconnecting with friends, meeting new faces and getting stuck into learning once again 🌟

It’s been fantastic to have everyone back .. here’s to a brilliant year ahead!

A very warm welcome to Year 7 & Year 12 🌟

What an amazing day we’ve had welcoming our new Year 7 and Year 12 students to Haybridge!

Our Year 7 students spent the morning getting to know their tutor groups, touring the school, receiving their planners and finding their feet. The morning culminated in an assembly led by Head of Year, Mr Dickens, before they headed into lessons for the afternoon.

We were so impressed by how confidently they embraced their first day and, most importantly, how brilliantly they already embodied the Haybridge values. They looked incredibly smart, showed fantastic enthusiasm and were a real credit to themselves and their families. 👏

Our Year 12 students also had a fantastic first day. Head of Sixth Form, Mr Peake, welcomed them with an assembly focused on the year ahead - encouraging students to think about the exciting next stage of their education, the opportunities ahead and how they can approach their Sixth Form journey with ambition and confidence.

They certainly looked eager to get started!

A huge well done to all our new students - you’ve made a brilliant start, and we can’t wait to see all that you achieve during your time at Haybridge.

Uniform Reminder ❗️

As we look ahead to the start of the new school year, this is a friendly reminder to all students and parents/carers about our uniform expectations.

At Haybridge, we believe that wearing the correct uniform helps students take pride in themselves and their school, supports positive behaviour and creates a strong sense of belonging.

Please take some time before the start of term to check that your child’s uniform and appearance meet our expectations:

* School shoes must be worn - trainers are not permitted.
* Shirts must be tucked in and worn correctly.
* Blazers must be worn as part of the school uniform.
* Single stud earrings only - no other piercings are permitted.
* Tights must be worn with skirts - socks should not be worn with skirts.
* Long hair must be tied back.
* Make-up is not permitted, including false eyelashes.
* False/acrylic nails are not permitted.
* Please ensure all other uniform items and equipment meet the school’s requirements.

📌 Our full Uniform and Equipment Policy, including all expectations, can be found on the school website:
[Haybridge Uniform & Equipment](https://haybridge.worcs.sch.uk/parents-and-students/information/uniform-and-equipment/)

We ask parents and carers to please check uniform before the start of term and support us in ensuring students arrive each day looking smart, prepared and ready to learn.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain high standards and a positive school community.

1 week to go 🏫

The start of a new school year is the perfect time to get back into good routines… regular attendance really does matter!

📚 Being in school every day helps children keep up with their learning, stay connected with friends and settle confidently into their routines.

⏰ A few simple things can help:
• Re-establish bedtime and morning routines before school starts
• Get uniforms, bags and everything ready the night before
• Limit screens before bedtime
• Talk positively about the new school year and all the things to look forward to

Those first few days really can make a difference.

2 x black or blue pens
A whiteboard pen
Green pen
Pencil
Pencil sharpener
Ruler
Eraser
Glue stick
Calculator
Highlighters
A water bottle with a sports cap

3. Uniform 👔

Please check that your child’s uniform is ready, complete and in line with our uniform policy.
