INDUSTRY INSIGHTS 🌍
Our first ‘Industry Insights’ session was a fantastic success, giving students an engaging introduction to the world of Geoscience and Environmental Emergency Response.
Students explored a real-life case study and gained insight into how environmental emergencies are assessed, managed, and resolved by professionals working in the field. It was a valuable opportunity to see classroom learning brought to life through real-world application and industry expertise.
A huge thank you to our very first parent visitor for sharing their time, experience, and knowledge with our students. We look forward to welcoming more inspiring speakers as the series continues!

Chai & Paint 🎨
This morning, some of our Year 8 students took part in a cultural art and wellbeing session called Chai & Paint.
During the session, students created a canvas painting that represented their identity, culture, interests, and personal experiences.
As they painted, students reflected on what makes them unique and shared aspects of their cultural backgrounds with one another. The session also explored the Five Ways to Wellbeing: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give.
Through creative expression and meaningful conversations, students developed a greater appreciation of themselves and others while promoting positive wellbeing.
