Haybridge Sixth Form Open Morning – Saturday, 11 January- Book a time

Haybridge Open Evenings this year will be held on Wednesday, 23 September, for the Lower School and on Thursday, 15 October, for the Sixth Form.

Haybridge is open today Wednesday 20th November for all year groups.

Students and staff must take great care when making their way to school as after the recent snowfall roads and pavements may be a cause for concern and should only be travelled if families and individuals consider it safe to do so in their particular circumstances.

Please report any absences in the usual way.

Our last communication from the school transport companies suggested that they are running a normal service and they have yet to make us aware of any changes or cancellation to services.

INTEGRITY IS ABOUT DOING THE RIGHT THING We treat others with respect and honesty. We take care of our environment and utilise knowledge and understanding wisely. We nurture our students so that they become young adults of principle and character who support each other in their quest for excellence. WE ARE COMMITTED
TO BEING THE BEST
WE CAN BE
We consistently deliver on expectations and go the extra mile to get the job done, approaching everything with a “can do attitude”. We constantly look to improve ourselves and our service, cultivating our knowledge, skill, and attitudes to achieve excellence.
WE ARE AMBITIOUS FOR OURSELVES AND OUR STUDENTS We set high expectations and standards and strive to achieve excellence in all that we do. We are unashamedly ambitious for the students we serve. We want to provide access to opportunities within the classroom and beyond. We will continue to strive to be the best we can be. KNOWLEDGE AND LITERACY MAKE CREATIVITY POSSIBLE Our schools, where students develop the literacy skills on which all further learning depends, cultivate creativity by providing a broad base of academic knowledge that students need to be properly creative. The knowledge we deliver is powerful in that it changes students’ perceptions, values and understanding. It encourages students to ask new questions and explore alternate explanations.

Sixth Form at Haybridge

The Sixth Form at Haybridge is an established and distinctive part of an exceptional school, and we are able to offer a unique experience.
A huge congratulations to Maisie, who competed at the National Finals in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday and delivered an outstanding performance with a clean routine throughout.

We are delighted to share that Maisie passed her final grades, Excel 3, officially earning Elite Gymnast status. As if that wasn’t enough, she has also qualified for the British Championships in Liverpool next year!

We couldn’t be prouder of Maisie and the dedication, resilience and hard work she has shown to reach this incredible milestone. We can’t wait to see what she achieves next 🌟🤸‍♀️

Final half term… let’s go!

To celebrate another successful year, the final week of this term will become our very first Haybridge Celebration Week - a week designed to recognise students’ hard work, encourage positive behaviours and give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the end of the school year together.

Throughout the week, there will be a range of celebrations and activities taking place for all students to enjoy, including games on the quad, tutor time quizzes and events, music, and an ice cream van visiting school which students will be able to purchase from during the school day.

Alongside this, students will have the opportunity to earn places in several special reward events, including activities such as a ‘Sponge the Teacher’ and an inflatable fun day on the school field. To take part in these events, students will need to earn raffle tickets across the half term. The raffle ticket system will be launched with students on the first day back, and there will be many ways for students to earn tickets, including:

Excellent attendance and attendance streaks
Punctuality to lessons
Positive behaviour and low behaviour points
Consistent Excellence House Points
Tutor group achievements
Excellent effort, progress and attitude to learning

Raffle tickets will be awarded daily by tutors, teaching staff and members of the leadership team. Tutors will collect and record tickets each week, and at the end of the half term, students with the highest numbers of raffle tickets will be entered into prize draws for the opportunity to participate in the reward events.

We are excited to make this term a positive, memorable one for all!
